Our History
Millcraft Industries, Inc. is a company founded on ideas. Millcraft began as a recognized leader in industrial fabrication, the manufacturing of steel related products and real estate. Recently the company exited the steel industry and has focused 100% of its efforts in commercial real estate. Millcraft has become a recognized leader throughout Western Pennsylvania for its development and redevelopment of real estate properties. The name Millcraft has become synonymous with quality and performance and represents a company capable of understanding market conditions, predicting change and acting on opportunities.
Today, Millcraft’s Real Estate Division is a multi-million dollar operation, which has participated and directed a variety of real estate ventures, including industrial properties, sustainable mixed-use developments, commercial office buildings and retail, historical renovations, golf course communities, hotels and restaurants and residential developments.

Jack B. Piatt, Founder and Chairman of Millcraft Industries, Inc., is recognized as one of the leading industrialists in one of the most productive industrial regions of the world. He has guided Millcraft on a path of sustained growth and is directly responsible for Millcraft's past and present success in the real estate industry. His vision is demonstrated in projects such as Southpointe, Millcraft's progressive approach to real estate development, which displays the company's ability to implement unique and complex development projects.

Lucas B. Piatt, Chief Operating Officer
As Executive Vice President of Real Estate, Lucas Piatt’s responsibilities are to oversee commercial, retail and industrial leasing activities, identify and develop new business for the corporation as a whole and direct the short and long-term marketing goals of Millcraft Industries Incorporated and its subsidiaries. Mr. Piatt brings to Millcraft knowledgeable experience in the areas of project management in commercial and residential construction as well as many aspects of leasing and land planning. Mr. Piatt’s work history leaves him experienced in sales and marketing, contract negotiations, material purchasing and logistics, inventory control, building maintenance, space planning, interior design and real estate development.

Brian R. Walker, Chief Financial Officer
As Chief Financial Officer for Millcraft Industries, Brian R. Walker’s activities include overseeing, managing and developing the Company’s financial and treasury functions, directing strategic planning and business valuation, and developing and monitoring project budgets.
Mr. Walker brings to Millcraft a strong business perspective with extensive operating experience and financial management. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Walker was a partner in a Pittsburgh CPA firm, where he specialized in business tax, accounting, auditing and consulting services.

Ms. Dittman brings to Millcraft Industries over 25 years of progressive experience in the areas of Office Leasing, Business Development, Budgeting, Cash and
Project Management, Strategic Planning, Property Management, Tenant Relations, Tenant Build-outs and Marketing.
Prior to joining Millcraft Industries, Ms. Dittman was employed with a Pittsburgh based real estate development company principally engaged in the ownership, development, acquisition and management of premier commercial office, retail and residential real estate.

Chad R. Wheatley, Director of Construction
As Project Manager for Millcraft Industries, Inc., Chad Wheatley plans, organizes, and supervises work in connection with development, design, and construction of all major construction and tenant improvement projects. Mr. Wheatley is also responsible for administering construction contracts and coordinating all phases of development from planning to project construction.
Prior to joining Millcraft, Mr. Wheatley extended his Real Estate Development knowledge through years of experience on multi-million dollar construction projects with a large development company in downtown Pittsburgh, as well as with one of the nation 's largest construction companies, headquartered in Pittsburgh.

David Westrick, Assistant Controller
As assistant controller for Millcraft Industries, Inc., David Westrick is responsible for accounting functions for several existing properties in addition to research, financial analysis and accounting for future development projects that the company may develop/acquire.
Prior to joining Millcraft, Mr. Westrick spent 10 years working for several local development companies and spent an additional 10 years in the Washington, D.C. area with three different real estate development/management companies.
